Initial 12 Month Daily Rate Contract, Dublin Based, Great Rate Available

Onsite 1 day per week, 4 days remote working.

The Opportunity

My client, a leading enterprise organisation is undergoing a major Agile transformation, and I'm currently recruiting for SAFe-certified Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support the launch of a brand new Agile Release Train (ART) for their major enterprise programme. This is a critical, hands-on role offering the opportunity to shape and lead delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a large-scale Agile Release Train, driving cross-team collaboration, continuous delivery, and value flow. The role offers a flexible working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART syncs, and system demos
• Drive the flow of value using Agile tools and frameworks (SAFe, Kanban, etc.)
• Work with Product Management, Scrum Masters, and Engineering to manage risks and dependencies
• Champion Agile best practices and ensure alignment across teams
• Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as a servant leader and coach across the Agile Release Train

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer in complex, enterprise-level environments
• Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) – SAFe RTE certification is highly desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
• Experience using Agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently and influence without authority
